My Review: 🌟🌟🌟.5/5

Sarah and Laurie are best friends since college days and live together in an apartment at Delancey Street. Laurie never believed in love at first sight as shown in the movies until one day it happened with her. It was on 21st December, 2008. She had a perfect moment with the perfect boy at a bus stop but unfortunately he failed to board the bus. She kept looking for him with Sarah who by then was aware how he looked. But Laurie’s life took a drastic turn when Sarah introduced the boy of Laurie’s dreams as her boyfriend at their annual Christmas party exactly one year later. After that their lives changed but not for good. If you want to know more about these three lives then give this book a shot. Truly speaking I am not a fan of cheesy romance novels including love at first sight but still I picked up this book because of the hype surrounding it. I can’t say I am entirely happy with the story but the end was quite sweet and romantic. Once in a while we love reading such cliché stories especially during the cozy month of Christmas. The language used was simple and easily understandable, the plot was not one of a kind but still there were quite a few heart wrenching moments and the characters were also lovely. If you are looking for a cozy story to curl up on your couch then you can give it a go.

P.S be prepared with a box of tissues.
