My Review: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5

The protagonist of the story is Maddie, a young girl, who decides to spend the summer at her uncle’s inn in Havenfall. The inn is a mystical place which serves as the intersection point for four magical realms namely Fiordenkill, Byrn, Solaria and Haven aka Earth. Th door to Solaria was sealed off years ago after a deadly incident at Havenfall. Maddie’s uncle serves as the innkeeper and is responsible for maintaining peace between the realms. Every summer an annual peace summit takes place at Havenfall where delegates from all the realms take part. But this summer along with celebrations various mysteries are going to unfold.

This book is a magical blend of mystery and fantasy. Havenfall is a mystical place where magic happens. All the other realms seems captiivating but we never get to visit those in this book which was really disheartening. The characters were well casted and each had a story of their own. Also the mystery is well weaved and keeps you guessing. Though i could sense some of the twist some others were totally unexpected. The story takes you through a roller coaster of emotions where you feel happy once and heart-broken the next moment. Sara Holland has created a world where fantasy fans would love to spend their summer. If you are a sucker for young adult fantasy and want mystery elements thrown in with it then you can give this book a shot.
