Unlocked Silences is a collection of 117 poems and abstracts focusing on life issues ranging from heartbreaks to death. The writings are thought provoking and motivate the readers to take life as a challenge and consider everyday as a new beginning. It inspires you to stand up for yourself and never to lose hope no matter how many times you face failure. It teaches the values of acceptance and tolerance. It discusses the love of self and self-esteem and advices the readers to embrace their scars and learn to choose themselves over others.

The author has penned down his thoughts in a very simple language with a deep meaning which compels you take a moment of silence and think about the life choices you have made. The excerpts are very relatable and left a profound impact upon me. Each and every poem flows smoothly and is clear and concise. The writing style is absorbing and brings out the emotions precisely which the author is trying to convey. The book is short and fast paced which can be finished in a single sitting. Beginners can pick up this book as the language used is simple and understandable. What I liked most about the book is that the verses are not only regarding love but also touches on various sensitive issues including mental health and desolation.
